Kickers – Our Premium Footwear Brand
In August 2024, Kothari Industrial Corporation Ltd (KICL), part of the D.C. Kothari Group, entered into a 30-year licensing and distribution agreement with France’s Royer Group to introduce the iconic Kickers brand to India and select regions, including Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Bangladesh.
The first Kickers store launched at Chennai’s VR Mall in December 2024, offering a diverse range of sandals, chappals, boots, and sneakers for both men and women.
KICL aims to open approximately 10 Kickers stores by March 2025, with plans to establish 100 exclusive fashion stores and 700 retail counters across India and eight other countries within the next two years.
Perambalur Factory – Advancing Footwear Manufacturing
Our commitment to large-scale, high-quality footwear production is exemplified by our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Perambalur, Tamil Nadu. Established in 2023, this factory has already produced two million pairs of footwear for the domestic market.
In collaboration with Taiwan’s Shoetown Group, JR One Kothari Footwear Pvt Ltd operates within this industrial park, focusing on the production of renowned brands like Crocs.
Looking ahead, Phoenix Kothari Footwear plans to invest an additional Rs 5,000 crore to establish non-leather footwear factories in Eraiyur and Karur, aiming to produce 200 million pairs and generate employment for over 50,000 individuals by 2027.
