We are thrilled to announce the inauguration of the first-ever fashion store in India for the iconic French shoe brand, Kickers. The prestigious event was held on Dec 14 2024, with the Consul General of France in Pondicherry & Chennai, Mr. Etienne Rolland-Piègue, inaugurating the store and celebrating this historic milestone.
This momentous occasion marks the beginning of a landmark partnership between Kothari Industrial Corporation Limited (KICL), a Chennai-based industrial leader with a legacy of over a century, and Groupe Royer, a French family-owned heritage shoe company. This 30-year agreement will ensure Kickers’ footprint expands not only across India but also in eight other countries across South Asia and the Middle East. As part of this plan, at least five more Kickers stores are set to open in India next year.
The partnership symbolizes the union of two globally admired legacies—Groupe Royer, known for its quality and innovation in footwear, and KICL, renowned for its industrial expertise and market leadership. Together, we are proud to take the Kickers legacy to new heights, bringing world-class footwear to customers across the region.
